Computer Searches

Day 13 of testimony continued with the prosecution bringing on computer experts who looked at the hard drive from computers that Casey Anthony used.

Searches for "chloroform", "death" and "self-defense" were some of the searches done on two different days in March of 2008. The prosecution has proof that when these searches were made, the whereabouts of both George and Cindy Anthony were known and can be proved. This leaves Casey as the probable person who used the computer for these searches.

Is the prosecution trying to show pre-meditation here?

We already heard testimony that the levels of chloroform found in the trunk area of Casey's car was high.

The theory is that Casey used homemade chloroform to subdue Caylee so that she would sleep and allow Casey to party. Perhaps she used too much and Caylee did not wake up?

I need to be more patient. Many people feel that the prosecution is proving their case against Casey Anthony. Although I want to see justice for Caylee, I am just not seeing proof of murder yet.

Think about it people. You are on the jury and you are supposed to be compelled by the evidence that ties Casey to Caylee's death. It just isn't there yet. We have not yet heard proof of how Caylee died; we only know she is dead. There is much more to come that has not been presented yet. We know from watching news reports that duct tape was placed over Caylee's mouth and nose and a little heart-shaped sticker was placed on top. (sick) A heart-shaped sticker that they also found in the Anthony home.

Caylee's body was wrapped in a winnie the pooh blanket similar to one that was in Caylee's room and Cindy Anthony said there was another one just like it which she could not find. The body was then put in a laundry basket just like one found in the Anthony home - again, they had another one but could not produce it.

Is this proof? Maybe it is part of the puzzle but hopefully they have something stronger to tie Casey to the death of Caylee Anthony. Justice needs to be served and the truth needs to be told.
