Do Cadaver Dogs Lie?

Cadaver dogs have no reason to lie. They are specifically trained to sniff out what humans often miss. Although many people in law enforcement know the smell of human decomposition, a trained cadaver dog has no reason to lie.

What I have seen as a possibly circumstantial case against Casey Anthony may have moved into proving more of a case today. The prosecution has been following a timeline which is similar to a soap opera building to the finale. We have heard George and Cindy Anthony testify to the smell in their daughter's car. We have heard a tow truck operator who knew the smell also as being human decomposition because of his past experience. We have heard police testify to also smelling the "smell". Yesterday we had the scientist from the famous "Body Farm" whose very research involves human decomposition also identify the smell in Casey's car as coming from human decomposition.Today, we had a police dog handler testify to a cadaver dog smelling the "smell:.

Just as the prosecution put on several witnesses who testified to Casey's almost natural ability to lie, now we have had several people testifying to the smell in her car.

Jose Baez tried to say that the only reason the dog identified the "smell" was because he wanted to be rewarded.

Jose is going to have to do better than that.

The cadaver dog smelled human decomposition by Caylee's play house. The theory is that Casey first put Caylee's body there and then moved it. That would explain why the dogs smelled the smell but found no body. It wasn't a failure of the cadaver dogs. They smelled the smell; the body had been moved.

Tomorrow another dog handler is expected to testify.

As the prosecution continues to present its case against Casey Anthony, what do you think? Is the prosecution building their case and do you think that they will be able to prove that Casey murdered Caylee?

Will there be justice for Caylee?
